Level 2 Goal:  Integrate level 1 principles with specific program design components to create comprehensive, specific, and dynamically effective programs for all athletes and clients.

Level 1 provided strategies and considerations in preparation for coaching new athletes or clients.  Level II builds on level 1, integrating specific program components, trusted methods, and a process for bringing it all together when programming.

DAY 2

TRAINING SESSION LABS

Attendees complete 3-sets of each exercise during Core and Strength training labs, with goal of experiencing multiple exercise progressions.

Set 1:  Early phase general exercise

Set 2:  Progress on set 1, increased intensity and/or specificity exercise

Set 3:  Progress on set 2, increased intensity and/or specificity exercise

COACH INSTRUCTOR LED PROGRAM CREATION

Using a sample athlete and specific athlete and variables to consider, coach instructors will create a program, communicating their thought process and purpose for all exercises chosen

SMALL GROUP WORKOUT CREATION

Attendees split into small groups and, as a team, create a Core & Lower Body or Core & Upper Body workout followed by whole group workout discussion.

National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) approved 1.2 CEUs in category A for certified individuals attending this event.

PMR Performance is recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as an Approve Continuing Education Provider.  Approved for 1.2 NASM CEUs.
